Several area towns, cities, and organizations had LGBTQ+ Pride Month events in 2023. Here are some:

June 9: Erev Shabbat Service—Pride Shabbat with guest speaker, Jay Smith, Chief Communications Officer at Keshet: For LGBTQ Equality in Jewish Life. 7:30 p.m., Temple Sinai, Sharon, MA. 

June 10: Cambridge Pride Brunch. Morning time TBD. Cambridge City Hall.

June 11: Sharon LGBTQ+ Pride Festival and Car Parade. 12-4 p.m., Memorial Park Beach, Sharon, MA.

In partnership with High Five Books, Translate Gender hosts a monthly book club for trans and nonbinary youth (ages 8-18) called Affirmations. Book clubs are offered for TWO different groups (see left column). For more information: https://www.highfivebooks.org/affirmations-book-club

LexPride presents Rainbow Artists, a creative expression group for LGBTQIA+ youth and allies ages 8-11 and 12-15. Led by experienced art facilitators/therapists, we create a safe, warm space with art invitations and conversation — and occasional guest LGBTQIA+ artists! https://www.lexpridema.org/

Out Metrowest offers a variety of in-person Youth Programs for grades 6 to 12. No RSVP required. New youth are welcome at all meetings. Check Out Metrowest website for more info.
